International Pool Tour founder Kevin Trudeau has paid Efren "Bata" Reyes and the other winners in the 2006 IPT World Open 8-Ball Championships another eleven percent of their winnings last week.
Tour director Deno Andrews informed Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today that the latest installment brings the total paid out so far to 44 percent of the winnings.
Reyes who won the top prize of $500,000 beating American Rodney "The Rocket" Morris 8-6 in the finals has so far received $220,000 which amounts to some P11 million.
Reyes, his bosom buddy Francisco "Django" Bustamante and Marlon Manalo among others always maintained that Trudeau had paid them their substantial winnings in the past and they had no doubt he would keep his word and eventually pay them their total winnings.
Trudeau had earlier expressed his gratitude to the Filipino pool players for their understanding and support.
